Calangute Beach: The most famous of Goa's beaches, Calangute beach extends for 7 kilometers of sand. Stretching along the North Goa coast Calangute beach is loved by people of all ages. The attractions of this beach include food and trinket stalls very near Calangute Beach.
Dona Paula Beach: A well-known beach, Dona Paula Beach is believed to be named after a young daughter of a Portuguese offical. Anjuna Beach: Less than 20 Km from Panaji, Anjuna beach, was famous in the 1970's for its beach parties. The beach raves continue in Anjuna, though the hippies are no longer present. The Wednesday weekly flea market is an evergreen attraction.
